In the Ultimate Edition, there's an additional color page & the paper doll Princess Ai page in it is a bit smaller than the one printed in one of the three separate volumes. Also, the cover page is absolutely gorgeous, so if you're a major Princess Ai fan, this is a perfect add to your collection ! I purchased it from goHastings for a cheaper price because it was used  so you might also want to consider doing the same if you want a great bargain.

This manga has the infamous title of being the one that possibly drove the nail into the coffin for the American manga distributor Tokyopop ... And I can see why. It's a bog-standard mary sue story about Courtney Love's self-insert heroine. The plot is laughably bad and it's a wonder how younger me could have ever liked this. However, the art is stunning. Like, mega gorgeous. It's a damn shame the mangaka that illustrated it never had anything else released in the west. I'd read it for the artwork alone. Younger me wouldn't let one of my favorite childhood mangas pass me by so I purchased this omnibus. If you're late to the Princess Ai train and wanna give it a shot... Now's a good time to read. It's a real short tale and the volumes are at an all-time low to buy. However, know that this isn't really what one would call a 'good' or even 'so bad it's good'. Can't beat the beautiful illustrations though.
fast read once you get the hang of it. Princess Ai is a good example of how to be true to yourself and your freinds. To reach for your dreams and look cute doing it!

Such a good read. Courtney Love basically turned her love of Kurt Cobain into manga. Very creatively done.
